About Nailah Blackman

Nailah Blackman is a Caribbean superstar from Trinidad and Tobago, known for her groundbreaking impact on modern Caribbean culture. 

 She launched her career at age 19 with the hit "Workout" alongside Kes the Band, which gained over 23 million views. Nailah quickly followed up with her solo track "Baila Mami," achieving 3 million views in a month, and made history with "Baddish," a female-led Dancehall x Soca collaboration featuring Shenseea. 

In her first year, she hosted the first concert, of her now annual concert series, "Sokah Origins," attracting 2,500 attendees and earning a BET Award nomination for Best New International Act. 

Her debut EP, "The Reel," included the popular song "Sweet & Loco," which helped her reach the African diaspora and led to a collaboration with Adekunle Gold. 

Nailah is also dedicated to youth mentorship and activism, exemplified by her children's concert "Lah Lah Land." 

Nailah's 2022 debut album "Teknique" featured international artists such as Walshy Fire, Jay Critch, and Oxlade, and included her hit song "Come Home."
